2. Data We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us when using E-Degin:

• Account Registration Details: When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, password, and optional details such as boutique name or date of birth.
• Uploaded Design Materials: We collect flat textile images (blouse, body, and pallu designs) that you upload for the purpose of generating mockups.
• Payment Transaction Data: When purchasing credit packs or subscription plans, transaction processing is handled securely via our payment gateway (Razorpay). We do not directly store or collect your card numbers, CVVs, or bank details on our servers.
• Usage Logs and Cookies: We utilize tracking systems like Google Tag Manager (GTM) and cookies to improve website performance, analyze user interaction, and provide customized user experiences.

3. Intellectual Property & Uploaded Designs

We understand the high value of custom ethnic design files for boutiques and retailers. E-Degin operates under the following strict rules:

• Ownership: You retain full and exclusive intellectual property rights to all uploaded design images and the generated mockups. E-Degin asserts no ownership claims over your creative assets.
• AI Model Training: We explicitly state that we do not use your uploaded design files to train, fine-tune, or iterate on our generative AI models without your explicit, separate opt-in consent. Your designs remain private to your workspace.
• Storage & Deletion: Uploaded components are securely cached to enable generation. You can delete your mockups and source components from your workspace history at any time, which schedules them for permanent deletion from our active databases.

4. Use of Your Personal Data

We process your data to:

• Render high-resolution saree and kurti mockups using AI.
• Manage user accounts, subscriptions, and credit balances.
• Send transactional notifications (e.g., credit purchase receipt) and customer support updates.
• Ensure compliance with security standards, prevent fraudulent usage, and optimize website layout.

5. Data Retention & Your Deletion Rights

Under the DPDP Act 2023, you have the right to request access to your personal data, request corrections, or demand erasure/deletion of your personal data.

Data Deletion Request: If you wish to delete your account and associated profile information permanently, you can submit a deletion request via our support page or email our Grievance Officer. Your personal data will be purged within 30 business days of receiving the request, except where retention is legally mandated.
